Culturally grounded healing, deep listening, and connection to Country
CEED Healing creates culturally safe spaces where people can return to themselves, to story, and to Country. Our work is grounded in deep listening, truth-telling, and the strength of our matriarchal lineage. We hold space for identity, belonging, and healing - guided by Spirit, grounded in Country, and shaped by lived expereince.
For the past four years, we have delivered powerful cultural healing experiences across Gimuy (Cairns), supporting Indigenous children, youth, adults, and practitioners to reconnect with culture, story, and Country in ways that honour our Ancestors and strengthen our communities.
Our vision is simple and strong: to create safe spaces and bright futures for our children through cultural healing, deep listening, and connection to Country.
We walk with community, organisations, and partners who are committed to healing, cultural safety, and meaningful changes.
One Program, Four Pathways
Our work is held within one core cultural program, delivered through four tailored pathways: Youth & Education, Survivors & Descendants, Indigenous Women, Health & Education Practitioners.
Each pathway is grounded in the same cultural spine - ceremony, deep listening, truth-telling creative healing, and connection to Country - adapted respectfully for the people we work with.
Deep Listening on Country - Gimuy Experience
Our signature program invites participants to slow down, listen deeply, and reconnect with Country through ceremony, ochre, guided reflection, and cultural learning with Elders.
Our Long-Term Dream
CEED Healing is growing toward offering cultural healing retreats on our great grandfather's Country, Darrba Warra - a return to the place our family story began, and a continuation of the healing work carried by our Ancestors.
