“I have worked on many Indigenous communities over the last 35 years as a community artist, however I have never truly been out on Country until I was honoured enough to be invited by Karen Reys on a tour by Uncle Willy Gordon. My eyes, my understanding and my heart have all been opened. My white privilege has been exposed my white fragility shattered. I am so very grateful to begin a journey of how to live on this land respectfully, honourably and in conjunction with the carers of this land, my only disappointment is that I did not do this sooner.”
